Snoop Dogg and Shante Broadus Keep It Real

Rapper Snoop Dogg and producer Shante Broadus were high school sweethearts before getting married in 1997. They had a brief split in 2004 and even filed for divorce. Snoop Dogg later admitted that he took his wife for granted. As his fame grew, he found himself more focused on the Hollywood scene, parties, and other women than on Broadus.

But the breakup didn’t stick. Snoop Dogg and Broadus got back together and remarried in 2008. He had to persuade her to take him back. In an interview with Larry King, Snoop Dogg shared, “It was up to me to try to put it back together, because I’m the one who said I didn’t want to be a part of it no more.”

Snoop Dogg had his own reality show, Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood (2007 – 2009), which also featured his wife and kids. Fans got a peek into his life as a husband, father, and artist. In one episode, the Ducks hockey players gave lessons to the couple’s kids.

Snoop Dogg also talked about his relationship with his wife on the show. He said many of his songs are about women and sex, but he created a special nickname for his wife. Whenever Snoop Dogg says “boo” in his songs, he’s actually referring to Broadus. So, if you’re listening to a Snoop Dogg track and hear him say “boo,” you’ll know he’s showing love to his wife.

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. are all about PDA

They first met while filming "I Know What You Did Last Summer" back in 1997, but they didn't start dating until 2000. It wasn't long before Prinze proposed to Gellar, and they tied the knot in Mexico in 2002.

After more than 20 years of marriage, these two are still head over heels for each other. They keep listening to one another, cracking each other up, and showing respect. Plus, they’ve got two cute kids, Charlotte and Rocky. Gellar likes to joke that the kids take after their dad when they get into trouble.

They often post adorable pics of each other online and use social media to share their love, especially on each other's birthdays. They even celebrated when Gellar hit two million followers on Instagram, with a fun post showing Prinze playfully smashing a cake in her face.

In a Facebook Live chat, Prinze mentioned that he knew Gellar was the one on their first date. He noticed that a lot of girls in Hollywood usually just ordered salads, which bugged him because they never ate what he wanted. But when he went out with Gellar, she dug into everything. He even laughed about how she ate a crab that had just walked across the counter without a second thought, and he thought, "Wow, my girl is the real deal."

Angela Bassett and Courtney B. Vance didn't have that instant spark

Bassett describes Vance as supportive and passionate. They got married in 1997 and welcomed twins, Bronwyn and Slater, in 2006. With busy careers and kids, they prioritize family above all else. For example, Bassett turned down a Broadway role in 2013 because Vance was already in "The Lucky Guy," and she wanted to be there for him and their kids.

You know how people often say it was love at first sight? That wasn't the case for these two. They met in drama school back in 1980 when Vance already had a girlfriend there. They stayed friends for years. Bassett remembers that about 14 years later, they ran into each other in Los Angeles. At that point, both were single, and she had grown to appreciate him over the years for how he treated people and his passion for connecting others.

Tina Turner and Erwin Bach Got Married in Switzerland

Tina Turner tied the knot with her partner Erwin Bach after being together for an impressive 27 years. They have one of the longest lasting relationships in Hollywood. They first met at Heathrow Airport back in 1985, and they got married in 2013. Their stylish wedding happened in Switzerland, where they now call home. Instead of going for a classic white dress, Turner chose a green and black silk Armani gown adorned with Swarovski crystals. While she skipped the white, the female guests definitely didn’t. Their celebration was star-studded, featuring guests like Oprah Winfrey, Sade, and David Bowie.

In 2016, Turner faced a diagnosis of intestinal cancer. Not long after, her kidneys gave out while she was trying to treat the cancer with natural remedies. She needed a kidney transplant, and Bach stepped up to donate his kidney to help her out.

Turner was taken aback by his kindness. In her autobiography “Tina Turner: My Love Story,” she shares how she felt “overwhelmed by the enormity of his offer.” After accepting his generous proposal, she had a successful kidney transplant. Tina felt a mix of happiness, relief, and being overwhelmed as they conquered this challenge together. Seriously, if that’s not true love, what is?

Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness Found Love While Shooting

Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness first crossed paths in 1995 while filming the Australian drama Corelli. They had this incredible chemistry during their scenes together. Just four months later, Jackman popped the question to Furness.

They’re proud parents of two adopted kids, Oscar and Ava. Furness is a strong advocate for adoption and set up two organizations focused on helping kids: Adopt Change in 2008 and Hopeland in 2014.

Believe it or not, there was a moment when Jackman and Furness broke up while dating. At the start of their relationship, Jackman was ready to get serious, but Furness wasn’t on the same page and ended things after just three weeks.

Jackman shared on the podcast “Aussies in Hollywood,” “I knew very early, I knew before Deb knew, even when she tried to break up with me, I knew [she was the one]. She kind of [broke up with me], a little bit. Early on, three weeks in. I managed to talk her out of it, thank God.” After Jackman convinced Furness to give their relationship another shot, they’ve been inseparable ever since.
